The Jewish prayer book, Siddur known as among their hundreds of prayers, has a very special prayer for the Jewish people, or also called Amidah Esrê-Shemona, which literally means "eighteen". Referring to a series of 18 blessings that are recited in synagogues sequentially.

Historians and great teachers of Judaism are adamant that the Amidah (main prayer) was developed mainly in the first century, although not uniform, because the prayer tradition was oral and there was no doctrinal monopoly at the time.
